Kasezome Selvedge Denim Pants - Old Blue

Wide-fit 5-pocket jeans crafted from 12oz Kasezome Selvedge Denim woven in Japan. Inspired by traditional Japanese dyeing techniques, the denim features varied indigo warp yarns and the texture of vintage ring-spun yarn.

The yarn undergoes a double rope-dyeing process inspired by traditional kasezome (skein dyeing), allowing indigo to penetrate deeper into the yarn. With wear, the denim develops subtle fading and an irregular slub texture. Woven slowly at low tension on vintage looms and washed for a soft, comfortable feel.

Constructed using more than 20 types of cotton and core-spun sewing threads in varying weights and colors, allowing different areas of the garment to age uniquely over time. Finished with Japanese buttons and rivets and a Union Special 43200G chainstitched hem. Made in Korea.

MATERIALS

100% cotton denim from Japan. 100% cotton twill from Japan. Japanese UJ and Gunze cotton and core-spun threads. Japanese buttons and rivets.

CARE

The denim has been washed to stabilize initial shrinkage but may shrink an additional 1–2 cm depending on washing and drying conditions. Avoid hot washing and machine drying. The sanforized fabric will naturally stretch and conform to the body with wear.

SIZING

Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and may vary by approximately 1–2 cm. Length may vary slightly between individual garments. Wide fit.
