Loose fit five-pocket pants made from 11.4oz Japanese sashiko fabric with a vintage black wash for a naturally worn appearance. The textured sashiko yarns create a raised surface similar to nep fabric, inspired by heavily faded vintage sashiko garments. The fabric is soft, flexible, and designed to develop additional fading and character with continued wear.
The fabric references traditional Japanese sashiko stitching techniques originating from the Edo period. Constructed with 100% Japanese cotton sashiko and twill fabric, Japanese-made UJ and Gunze threads, and Japanese-made buttons and rivets. Finished with Kansai Special hemming.
CARE
The garment has been processed to minimize shrinkage, though approximately 1cm of additional shrinkage may occur with frequent washing or tumble drying. Machine wash cold and hang dry recommended.
