Loose-fit 5-pocket work pants crafted from 13.6oz Shunko Kakishibu Kashiko, an original Japanese fabric combining Kasuri yarn with Sashiko construction. Lightly rinsed to minimize color transfer while preserving the fabric's deep indigo and kakishibu tones.

The warp uses extra-heavy slub Shunko yarn dyed in indigo, while the weft combines kakishibu-dyed Shunko with multicolored Kasuri yarn. This creates an irregular, highly textured surface with subtle brown tones beneath the indigo. The twisted weft also gives the fabric a dense, substantial feel. With wear, the green-cast indigo develops distinctive fading and color variation.

Finished with Japanese sewing threads, buttons, and rivets and a Kansai Special chainstitched hem. Made in Korea.

MATERIALS

100% cotton Shunko Kakishibu Kashiko from Japan. 100% cotton twill from Japan. Japanese UJ and Gunze cotton and core-spun threads. Japanese buttons and rivets.

CARE

The fabric has been processed to stabilize initial shrinkage but may shrink an additional 1–2 cm with frequent washing or machine drying. Avoid hot washing and machine drying to minimize further shrinkage.

SIZING

Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and may vary by approximately 1–2 cm. Loose fit.
