DETAILS
WWII-inspired jacket crafted from heavyweight 14.2oz Japanese sashiko cotton and finished with a one-wash treatment. Based on simplified WWII-era construction, the jacket recreates the functional details and structured silhouette associated with wartime models.
Despite its substantial weight, the sashiko fabric remains flexible and comfortable to wear. The densely dyed indigo will develop deeper fading and texture with continued wear. Constructed using sewing threads of varying weights to create different aging characteristics throughout the garment. Finished with Japanese buttons and rivets. Made in Japan.
MATERIALS
100% cotton sashiko from Japan. Japanese UJ core thread. Japanese buttons and rivets.
CARE
The fabric has been washed to stabilize initial shrinkage but may shrink an additional 1–2 cm depending on washing and drying conditions. Avoid hot washing and machine drying. The sanforized fabric will naturally stretch and conform to the body with wear.
